A 24 -year -old British National, a 26 -year -old German, was feeling ill in his hostel in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, and then to the hospital.

The British woman, the family of Aboni McIntosh, said she had experience of vomiting, nausea and difficulty in breathing.

Mcintosh died at Sri Lankan Hospital, where he was being treated on 1 February. This was the day he entered the facility for treatment.

The German woman later died. She was staying in a hotel with a German man, who is quietly hospitalized.

What could be the cause of their deaths?

The Sri Lankan officials are trying to determine whether the deaths of tourists can be linked to their rooms, cleaned for pests on 30 January.

There is a chance that female tourists may have died due to food poisoning.

Aboni McIntosh’s family has started a gofundme to travel to Sri Lanka and bring it back to Britain. “We need to stay with him and bring him home safely,” read it on the Gofundme page.
