Emergency teams in China’s South -West Sichuan province on Sunday raced against time to detect 28 people, when a person killed a person and buried homes.
On Saturday, about 1,000 personnel were deployed after landlide in Junalian County. Some officials navigated through the remains of the collapsed buildings, using a drone and life detection radar to detect any indication of the local people who were families with the area, the state broadcast CCTV said.
CCTV reported that two injured people were rescued and about 360 others were buried 10 houses and one manufacturing building.
At a news conference on Sunday, officials said the initial assessment inspired the disaster for heavy rainfall and local geological conditions. He said that thesis factors changed a debris flow to about 1.2 kilometers (more than half mile) in a debris for a long time, with a total volume of 100,000 cubic meters (3.5 million cubic ft).

According to the official news agency Xinhua, the Chinese Vice Premier Liu Guozong was at the site to guide the operation and visit the affected residential.

China has allocated around $ 11 million to support disaster relief and recovery efforts.
Landslides, often due to rain or unsafe construction work, are not uncommon in China. Last year, a landslide in a remote, mountainous part of Yunnan, a south -west province of China, killed dozens of people.
