Brussels say that there is no notification on tariffs so far

The European Union says that after warning by US President Donald Trump, there is no “no official notification” of additional duties levied on exports, it will put 25% levy on steel and aluminum imports.

The European Commission said in a statement, “We will not respond to comprehensive announcements without details or written explanations.”

“The European Union does not see any justification for implementing the tatf on its exports. We will react with improper measures to protect the interests of European businesses, workers and consumers.”

On Monday, Trump’s steps to be expected later, will reflect their action in their first term, when 25% of the taifs on steel were placed 10% tahraps on aluminum as well as aluminum.

This applies to the export of € 6.4 billion ($ 6.6 billion) from the European Union.
