Gerli founder Bruno Heim died

Bruno Heim was born on January 27, 1941 in Münchweiler. Together with Gösta Andersson, he founded Gerli Schuh import and export in 1973. The name Gerli is derived from the first names of the wives of the company founders: ger (fell) Heim and Li (lo) Andersson. Heim and Andersson created what you would call start-up today. They pursued the idea of ​​their own shoe and export with vehemence, diligence and creativity. In 1986 the Gerli brand was founded, which today offers extensive shoe collections for women, men and children and covers a wide model spectrum. In 2023, Gerli GmbH started as a licensee for Camel Active’s shoe collections.
In 2005, Bruno Heim had withdrawn from the company. The management of Gerli GmbH today Ralf Grossmann – Bruno Heims son -in -law – and Sven Andersss – Gösta Andersson son – held. Bruno Heims daughter Simone Grossmann is HR manager in the company. The third generation has recently worked with Marc Grossmann.
