“Difficult year” for Kering – Schuhkurier

Kering had a significant decline in the past financial year 2024. The yield of the entire group fell by 12% to EUR 17.2 million. The operational result was EUR 2.6 million, which corresponds to a decline by -46% compared to the previous year (EUR 4.7 million). At Gucci, the decline was even higher to EUR 1.6 million.

“In a difficult year we accelerated and determined the transformation of several of our houses to strengthen the health and attractiveness of our brands in the long term,” says François-Henri Pinault, CEO and CEO of the Kering Group. “In the entire group and especially at Gucci, we have made important decisions to increase the effect of our communication, to sharpen our product strategies and to improve the quality of our sales, all taking into account the creative heritage that our brands distinguishes. We strengthened our organization, hired important employees, accelerated the implementation and increased the efficiency of our work. We have to continue our efforts and are confident that we have kering at a point of stabilization from which we will gradually resume our growth course. ”
