The US Senate confirmed the choice of Donald Trump to be the director of National Intelligence, the latest Trump Nominee to join his cabinet. Tulsi Gabbard was accused of supporting the Syrian dictator Bashar Assad, who arrived so far, to spread Russian publicity, and in particular, to pay the principles of false conspiracy about Ukraine.
Gabard was approved with 52–48 votes margin. All the Democrats voted against him, while all Republican Senators voted in favor, except for Kentki’s former Senate leader Mich McConel.
McConel said in a statement, “In my assessment, Tulsi Gabbard failed to demonstrate that he is ready to receive this tremendous national trust,” McConel said in a statement, he “brings unnecessary risk,” Looking at his previous statements and actions.
Democrats warned that Gabard should not be accessed the country’s most sensitive classified secrets.
