A humpback whale briefly swallowed a kayakar in Chile before he spit out without angels. The entire scene was captured on the video and quickly went viral.
Last week, the Adrian Simon was kaying with his father, Dell in the straight of Magellan, when a humpback whale came out of the water and swallowed it with his yellow kayak.
A few moments later, the whale emerged again and released the Simon.
‘I thought it had eaten me’
“I thought I was dead,” Adrian told the Associated Press News Agency. “I thought it had eaten me, that it swallowed me.”
Dell, which was at a distance of a few meters, captured the camera incident as he calmed it down.
“Stay calm, remain calm,” he can be heard saying that his son was released from the whale’s mouth.
Adrian said that after the release by Whale, he was really scared and thought that the whale would harm her father or she would be at the sea.
“When I came up and started swimming, I was afraid that something could happen to my father, also that we would not reach the edge in time or I would get hypothermia,” Adrian said.
Adrian managed to reach his father and both Dale and Adrian returned unaffected.
Whale attacks are rare in the ocean of Chile, but frigid waters make a challenge for sailors, swimmers and kickers.
