US President Donald Trump’s “Border Caesar” said on Sunday that he is “not happy” with the number of unspecified migrants arrested by the immigration agents and sent to his home countries.
Tom Homan told CNN “state of the Union” Show that Trump was arrested by 14,000 migrants since inauguration of January 20, but said, “We have to do much more.”
Many of those arrested have returned to their original land or sent to jail at the US Navy base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, while some have been released to live in the United States.
The US estimates that 11 million unspecified migrants are living in America, Trump to find and deport “millions” for the presidency during his 2024. Officials say the first arrest has targeted migrants guilty of crimes in the US, but that they live in the country without any immigration documentation can be targeted.
Homan said that this number is “much more” than the President of the President who is a “much more”, but said, “We have received to target and get production.”
The Trump administration has exploited law enforcement personnel from several American agencies to enhance those in the US immigration and customs enforcement agency, which generally controls migration issues.
On the first day of the Trump administration, hundreds of migrant arrests were made every day and still, but not just as.
The Homeland Security Department reported about 800 arrests in a day in late January, topped on 26 January at 1,179. This figure was less than 600 a day in the first two weeks of February.
The Trump administration had set a target of 1.200 to 1,500 arrests in a day.
