The US says the strike in Syria killed the al-Qaeda concerned officer

The US Army said that an al-Qaeda affiliated organization was killed in an accurate air strike in Syria on Sunday.

The US Central Command (CentCom) said it conducted the strike on Saturday “To target and kill an al-Qaeda colleague to a senior finance and logistics officer in the terrorist organization Hurus al-Din in North Western Syria,” one on X According to the statement.

Centcom did not identify its goal.

The United States nominated Hurras al-Din as a terrorist organization in 2019 and offered a financial award for information about many of its members.
