New format – shoe courier

The spectrum of the brands is diverse: from Scandinavian-clear look, as the Danish brand Pavement embodies it, to Italian and Spanish shoemaker art from Gianluca Pisati, Elvio Zanon or Alma en Pena to clothing and colorful accessories for fashion and shoe stores. The exhibitors concerns the question of how open trade is – and how easily the budgets are sitting for the order round. “The trade is currently finding itself difficult to commit itself,” says Sascha Patschull, who represents the Pavement brand. “Many want to look before they commit themselves.” Rainer Barth (Luca Grossi) evaluates it similarly: “It is a challenging season.” Trading is currently rather careful – not least because the frequencies in the city centers remain behind the expectations. He wrote to all customers for the order events of the season, says Barth – “I’m happy when many come.” The ambience on the Goodiez demand days is very nice, the price-performance ratio of the event is good-and it offers ideal conditions. “We hope that many dealers will come and have fun,” says Nicola Iammarrone, who presents Gianluca Pisati’s shoes in Düsseldorf. He also observed that customers are having a hard time making decisions in retail. This leads to the fact that the later measurement of the round will probably play a more important role than the very early appointments.
