The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas is expected to return the bodies of four hostages on Thursday, two of which will be the youngest.
For Hamas leader Khalil al-Haya, the bodies issued include Shiri Bibas and his younger children, kefir and aerial.
He was nine months and four years old when he was during the terrorist attack on Israel of October 7, 2023.
Hamas has planned to release the body of Oded Lifashitz, which was 83 years old when he was.
Hamas claims that three members of the Bibas family were killed in Israeli attacks during the early months of the war in Gaza, but Israel has not confirmed his deaths.
“In the last few hours, we are in turmoil,” said in a statement released on Tuesday, living members of the Bibas family.
“Our journey is not over until we get a definite confirmation.”
The father of the children, Yordan, who was released by Hamas earlier this month.
Hamas had set up a platform before handing over the dead hostages in the Bani Suila area of Khan Younis in Southern Gaza.
The Times of Israel Told that most Israeli media outlets had decided not to air the images of action outside the honor of the dead.
