The majority of the Sportx branches ended from March 2025: The Migros Group could not find a buyer for the other branches of the outdoor specialist market, so that 21 of the 22 locations had to close. According to the Swiss daily, 95 jobs were broken down. The company has been drinking down the online shop for a long time.
At the same time, Deichmann subsidiary Dosenbach-OCHSNER takes over 27 locations of the battered branchist, also on March 1. According to a message from Migros, Guarantee and Services for products that customers bought from Sportx are fully adopted by Ochsner Sport. The three Sportx branches taken over by Dosenbach are from now on under the Dosenbach brand. As it said in a letter from the company, employees should be able to be taken over in the affected branches, while the trainees can continue their training seamlessly.
