Balenciaga describes the collaboration with the sporting goods manufacturer as “a tribute to Pumas performance heirs”, whereby the research of sportswear and performance-inspired design is to be promoted. Part of the project is also the iconic zero-floor sneaker Speedcat, which Balenciaga is presented in a worn-out form and with separate form strips.
