Tecnica -Group slips into the minus – shoe courier

The Tecnica Group achieved a slightly declining result in the 2024 financial year. In this way, sales fell by around 4% to EUR 517 million. Only the fourth quarter showed an upward movement again, so that sales could recover during this period. The adjusted EBITDA was 79 million euros for the financial year, which corresponds to a minus of 13.5% for the previous year. The negative net finance position improved by 6% and reached 147 million euros, while the consolidated net profit was 25.2 million euros and was at the level of 2023.

The main turnover was the LOWA brand, which contributes around 50% to the total turnover of the group. “Thanks to a slight increase in sales, the results despite the trends of the global outdoor market,” said Tecnica. The Moon Boot brand was also able to continue its growth plan for several years. In addition to Lowa and Moon Boot, the Tecnica Group also includes the brands Blizzard, Nordica, Tecnica and Rollerblade. The group achieved a total of 54% of the income in the shoe area, 41% with winter sports equipment and 5% with inline skating. The most important markets were the roof region with 37% of the annual turnover, followed by North America at 23.5%. China is also particularly emphasized, where sales in the past financial year could be increased by more than 34%.

In 2024, the Tecnica Group invested around 30 million euros in various projects in terms of product development, supply chain efficiency and digitization. In the past three years, around 400 tons of CO2 emissions have been saved by the “Recycle Your Boots” project, while “considerable investments” were also made in the area of ​​human resources. The Tecnica Group employs over 3,700 employees worldwide.
