Rabri Devi told the news agency ANI, “Nitish Kumar comes to the assembly by drinking cannabis. He insults women, in which I join them, they insult us. They should see what kind of work we did when we were in power. The people around him say what they say. The members of their own party and some BJP leaders are asking them to say such things.”

Rabri’s son and former Deputy CM of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav also demanded Nitish Kumar’s resignation. He said, “Nitish Kumar should resign himself … even before him, my father (Lalu Yadav) has become an MP. He could not become CM without our support letter … He should not go to the ashram, because he cannot run the government. What they are doing with the future of 14 crore people? Nitish Kumar’s condition is not stable.”

Earlier, Rabri Devi on Saturday criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and said that she made absurd comments taking credit for women’s empowerment. Rabri Devi asked, “Nitish Kumar claims that whatever is good in Bihar has been achieved since 2005, when he came to power. Did he be born in the same year?”
