Manuela Öller has worked on sale for 25 years and is currently working in the logistics industry. In part-time job, she runs the start-up upgrade. Your goal is to offer fashionable and functional upgrades for shoes and accessories so that they can be used more flexibly. The basic idea for the Footloops, the first product of the brand, came from our own experience: “We are often on vacation in southern Europe and I could often have used something to attach the shoes if necessary so that you have more and do not have to carry more shoes around. And because summer is getting longer and warmer, I think the demand will only rise afterwards.”
Since the Footloops were only launched in autumn, Oiler is expecting a first jump in demand next summer. In the pantoletting foot loops in particular, she sees potential, since pantolettes and slides have recently gained relevance. So far, the founder has been selling the Footloops via her D2C shop, which she pushes primarily with the help of Google advertising. Your goal is now to make people aware of these products: “I think a lot of people don’t even know that there is a solution to their problem, and therefore don’t even look for it.” This is also why Öller is looking for partners in retail to offer the foot loops. In addition to shoe stores, she believes that her products could fit into the range, especially in beach or souvenir shops on the North or Baltic Sea.
