According to the Vedic almanac, the auspicious time of Ghatasthapana will be from 6:13 am to 10:22 am on the first day of Chaitra Navratri on 30 March, Sunday, in addition, Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 12:01 to 12:50 pm, which will give 50 minutes. Ghatasthapana can also be done in Abhijeet Muhurta.
Essential material of Navratri Puja
These items are required to worship Navratri. It includes Kalash, Ganga water, mango or Ashoka leaves, betel leaf betel nut, coconut, red sutra, molly, camphor, roli, akshat, red cloth, adornment, red posture, earthen pot, flowers, rice, cloves, cardamom etc.
What is the method of installation of urn
Kalash is established on the first day of Chaitra Navratri. For this, put a red cloth on a wooden post and keep a picture or idol of Mother Durga. After this, after meditating on Ganpati, add water, Ganga water, cloves, turmeric lumps, betel nut and coin in the urn. Put mango or Ashoka leaves and cover it with a lid and fill rice or wheat above. If you are keeping coconut, then make a swastika on it and tie it with a red cloth. After this, worship the Kalash and Maa Durga and take a pledge to fast, offer flowers, garlands, vermilion, kumkum, offerings and light a lamp of ghee and recite mantras.
Nine forms of Maa Durga are worshiped in nine days of Navratri. Every day, a special form of Maa Durga is worshiped. During this time devotees keep fast. On the eighth day, the girl is worshiped, in which young girls are considered as the form of a goddess and their blessings are taken. Ram Navami is celebrated on the ninth day.
