“We have already leased it, now it’s official,” says Vlace founder Viola Weller on LinkedIn. In addition to the sustainable sneakers, the new collection, which is launched together with Trigema, also includes T-shirts and hoodies that are manufactured and “produced fairly” in Europe. At the Trigema X Vlace Sneakers, the companies still use vegan fruit leather and relies on up- and recycling. “Wolfgang Grupp Jun. And I met at an event at the beginning of last year,” says Weller on the social media channel. “At the end of the year I got the idea: Two strong brands with clear values and unique USPs should work together.”
The new collection is now to be offered in the new store in Berlin. Here Vlace celebrates the opening of a pop-up store in the KaDeWe. “The heart of our cooperation: a Charly sneaker, fairly produced in Portugal, combined with a Charly T-shirt and hoodie that were manufactured in Germany under the highest social and ecological standards.”
