Trump tarifs impact: Due to the new tariff implemented by US President Donald Trump, the fear of the trade war deepening and the recession in the US economy has arisen. Amidst this fear, there has been an outcry in the US stock market on Thursday (April 3). By the time the news was written, Nasdaq in America slipped 4.78 percent. S&P 500 also fell 3.97 percent. Apart from this, Dow Jones declined by 3.47 percent.
There has been a major decline in shares of multinational companies. Naik’s share is 11 percent and Apple’s 9 percent is dropped. Naik’s manufacturing occurs in Vietnam. Large vendors of imported goods suffered the most. Five bills fell by 25 per cent, dollar tree 9 per cent and gap shares declined by 20 per cent.
Large decline in Nvidia and Tesla
The semiconductor chip -making company NVIDIA declined by 5 per cent and Elon Musk’s company Tesla by 3.5 per cent.
China’s stock markets also decline
The impact of Trump’s tariff is visible on markets around the world. China’s stock markets declined. In Hangsang, 1.54 percent has fallen by 0.24 percent in Shanghai composite. Apart from this, there is a huge decline in the rest of the important markets of Asia including India.
Indian market declines
On April 3, the Indian stock markets saw a rapid uproar. However, the Sensex-Nifty closed down from the lower level. At the end of the trading, the BSE Sensex closed at 76,295.36 with 322.08 points or 0.42 per cent at a level of 76,295.36. At the same time, NSE’s 50 -share index Nifty closed down 82.25 points or 0.35 per cent to close at 23,250.10 level.
