After this, a tsunami warning has been issued for Papua New Guinea. The center of this vigorous earthquake was at a depth of 10 km from the earth.
There has been no news of loss of life and property due to the strong earthquake. But there is an atmosphere of panic among the people. A tsunami warning was issued at Papua New Guinea due to an earthquake on the coast of New Britain Island. However, it has been withdrawn after an hour. It means to say that there is no longer a threat to tsunami.
