On April 12, the asphalt gold store at Berliner Straße 60 near the Paulskirche in Frankfurt am Main celebrated its opening. It is the second store after the “home base” in Darmstadt. He was announced as a community store where the local culture is to find its place. A café in the entrance area takes up this concept in the 160 sqm shop. The coffee comes from the Frankfurter Rösterei Hoppenworth & Ploch and is served in handmade ceramics by the local artist Viola Beuscher. The business is held in a minimalist mid-century design with modern industrial influences. Sneakers, streetwear, beauty products and home & living articles are offered.
The community aspect is to be picked up in ever new formats with regular events. These should establish the shop as a creative hub in the village. The soulsole party, which is traditionally oriented by asphalt gold, has already been announced, the regular Bad Habits Run Club, in which low-threshold is motivated to run together, and a photo exhibition. In the future, dates and ticketing will be available via a new community hub in the asphalt gold app.
