Bangladesh News: BNP met Mohammad Yunus and demanded to hold elections by December 2025. Warned of protests on the streets if not satisfied. Yunus did not give any clear time limit of the election.

Dhaka: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), one of the major political parties of the country, met Mohammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the interim government on Wednesday. The party is against any delay in the national election after December 2025. According to reports, BNP demanded a clear roadmap for the upcoming election, but Younus failed. BNP General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir met Mohammad Yunus. He said, ‘BNP is not satisfied with the meeting.’ Fakhrul said, ‘The Chief Advisor did not give us any special time limit. He again said that he wants to hold elections at some time between December and June.
He held a two -hour meeting with Yunus at State Guest House Jamuna. After this he told reporters, ‘But we are not satisfied at all. We have clearly stated that December is the last time. If elections are not held by December, political, economic and social status will be worse and it will be very difficult to bring it under control.
