CPA: This Is How The Third Customer Conference Ran

A whole day concentrated: On April 9, experts in the shoe industry met for the third customer conference of the CPA. Project manager, IT and supply chain manager and many other people from the shoe business had come to Langenfeld. Around 50 participants took part in the event, including around 36 representatives of customers of the software company in addition to the CPA team.

“From the exciting keynote speech of the Fraunhofer Institute for the use of AI in the shoe industry, through practical insights from Gabor into paperless production, to the presentation of our latest software solutions such as smarters, mobile material logistics or the compact product shorts – it was a day full of innovation, exchange and real inspiration,” summarizes the CPA. Managing Director Jörg Spiegelhoff draws a positive balance to Schuhkurier: “It was a great, round thing.”

The start was a keynote on the subject of “AI in product management” by Tim Wirtz and Pascal Linden from the Fraunhofer Institute. Among other things, they dealt with the image -based opportunities for new shoe models. Afterwards, Arnd Völkel spoke of Gabor about the paperless recording of performance data in the production facilities.
The range of services of the CPA was presented in several short lectures.

Two workshops were organized in the afternoon. The one dealt with the increase in efficiency of the order processing in the e-commerce environment, in which other about process reliability along the supply chain. After an intensive day, the evening was all about networking – and as a software company, the CPA had provided digital fireplace.

For Jörg Spiegelhoff, the conference formats are ideal: “We are concerned with optimizing the processes for our customers,” explains the CPA managing director. “For this we need an open exchange in which we can really go into the details.”

After the third conference, the next event will take place in about one and a half years. An appointment in September 2026 is planned.
