China-as tariff war: India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman reached San Francisco International Airport for her five -day visit to the US on Sunday (local time). The tour is scheduled from 20 April to 25 April. Meanwhile, China has warned the world. China has warned countries that are trying to get exemption from the tariff of US President Donald Trump not to compromise at the cost of China’s interests.
This warning of China has come when many countries want to be exempted from the tax levied by US President Donald Trump. Trump has said to impose heavy taxes on the goods of some countries, which has been stopped till July. China’s accent threatened
He said that if a country harms others for its own benefit and tries to get a discount from America, then it is like talking to Tiger. The result will be bad for both and everyone will be harmed. China said that it respects the efforts of those countries that want to resolve their business quarrels with America. But those countries should be “right and fair” and should stand on the right side of history.
The ministry also said that China, especially opposed that any country should compromise with America by harming the interests of China. The spokesman said that if this happens, China will not agree to it and will give a strong answer. This statement came when a news said that the Trump administration is pressurizing those countries who want exemption from tax, so that they reduce their trade with China.
This threat of increased clash in China America
It was also said in the news that American officials are asking other countries not to buy more goods from China and tax the goods coming from the countries which are close to China. Trump has stopped the tax on goods coming from many countries for 90 days. But he has increased the tax on Chinese goods a lot while increasing the trade war with China.
China has also responded by imposing more tax on goods coming from America. China has said that if America enhances trade quarrel, it will “fight till the end”. Scott Besent, a US official, has said that more than 70 countries have shown interest in talking on the trade agreement. Japanese officials went to America last week to get discounts on their main items like cars and steel. At the same time, South Korea officials are also going to start negotiations this week.
China also threatened Trump administration
Despite increasing business action against China, Trump said last week that he hoped that there would be a “very good” trade agreement with China. In its statement on Monday, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce accused the Trump administration of “imperialist politics” and “unilateral threatening”. He said that all this is being done in the name of “competition”. The spokesperson said that if the international trade is like “jungle law”, then all countries will suffer. He said that China is ready to work together with all countries, protest unilateral pressure, protect its rights and protect international justice.
