Türkiye impose further penalties for pig leather

After the Herzogenaurach sporting goods manufacturer Adidas had to pay in February, the Turkish Ministry of Commerce imposed further fines in April: According to the state broadcaster, the manufacturers Vans, Camper and New Balance had failed to specify the pig leather in the product information. In contrast, the reference to the brands of the brands oriented internally was found. Now the ministry is asking companies to checkout: The sporting goods manufacturer New Balance subsequently has to pay a penalty of around 40,000 euros, the manufacturer Vans around 20,000 euros. Meanwhile, the company Camper has to hire advertising.
