Hanwag appoints new international sales boss

Sanela Krisat Internationale has been a director at Hanwag GmbH since April 1, 2025. The mountain and hiking shoe manufacturer is thus reorganizing its international sales. In the future, crisis will be responsible for the entire area with the aim of targeting the worldwide growth of the brand and opening up new market potential.

The new person responsible looks at more than 17 years of experience in the international sales and marketing environment. Since it started with Fenix ​​Eastern Europe, the parent company, in 2010 it was significantly involved in building the Eastern European markets for brands such as Fjällräven, Hanwag and Primus. As of 2012, she was responsible for brand communication as a marketing manager. In 2018 she finally took responsibility for the entire EMEA region as a Deputy Coo & Marketing Manager at Fenix ​​Outdoor Emerging Markets. “Sanela combines strategic foresight with surgical strength and a deep connection to the Hanwag brand,” says Hanwag-CEO Thomas Gröger. “It brings all the prerequisites to raise our international sales strategy to the next level.”
