With the Gallery Weekend Berlin, Berlin galleries are merging and show their most important exhibitions. Other actors also support the action. The KaDeWe also sets up its shop windows as an exhibition, which is the official part of the Gallery Weekend program. Under the title show, the window is exhibited there until May 10th in every shop window.
A total of ten windows became artistic expression. Saâdane Afif, Alexandra Bircken, Isabella Ducrot, Benjamin Heisenberg, Christian Jankowski, Wilhelm Klotzek, John Miller, Josefine Reisch, Pamela Rosenkranz and Karin Sander. “As heterogeneous as these ten expenses’ are, so much unites her associative potential, the fundamentally sculptural dimension and the inevitable interaction with the random and deliberate audience,” says curator Sebastian Hoffmann.
