Almost everything is repaired
Anyone who has to repair something can come too daredevil. Täschner Jürgen Gerber, Louis Vuitton and Hermès pockets, with passion, patches torn straps and broken zippers, uses new food and prepares faded colors. Around 40% of the orders include bags, belts and small leather goods. Felix Adler and Rolf Rainer take care of the customers who have their shoes repaired or want to have new measurement shoes adjusted. “There is actually little where we give up,” says Felix Adler confidently. Almost everything can be repaired-only if a sneaker has already been 16 times in the washing machine, “then I don’t feel like worrying about it anymore.” The artisans are aware that their work is worth something. And so an amount of around 300 euros comes together for the preparation of a designer bag – a price that a customer is likely to pay for her favorite accessory. Basically, after the motto, the daredevil team works that the question of the economy of the customer must arise-and not them. “If our work is too expensive, you may find a different repair company,” says Adler.
The customers of daredevils are also a sneaker shop who wants to launch his own limited editions. And the four craftsmen can also imagine working with dealers or manufacturers to take over their shoe repairs. This would only require the original components such as sole material and other ingredients. “And then we can carry out a wide range of repairs for shoe manufacturers from Cologne within one to a maximum of two weeks,” says Felix Adler.
