Share market today: After the ups and downs, the Indian stock markets closed in a green mark on Wednesday 7 May. The Sensex rose by 106 points. The Nifty again reached above 24,400. Under Operation Sindoor, there was a slight decline in early trade after the Indian Army’s counter attack on terrorist bases inside Pakistan. But later the market recovered. Smallcap and midcap stocks were well raised. Both the BSE Midcap index and the smallcap index closed down 1.36 per cent. Due to this, investors today made a profit of about ₹ 2.21 lakh crore. The total market capitalization of listed companies in BSE rose to Rs 423.52 lakh crore on May 7 today, which was Rs 421.31 lakh crore on its previous trading day i.e. Tuesday 6 May. In this way, the market cap of listed companies in BSE has increased by about Rs 2.21 lakh crore today. Or in other words, the assets of investors have increased by about Rs 2.21 lakh crore.

The number of shares shut down on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today was high. A total of 4,046 shares on the exchange were seen today. Out of this, 2,203 shares closed up rapidly. At the same time, 1,685 shares saw a decline. While 158 shares were closed flat without any fluctuations. Apart from this, 61 shares today touched their new 52-whee high during trading. At the same time, 138 shares touched a new lower level of 52-weeks.
