Now after the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, the current season of the Indian Premier League on Thursday is likely to resume from 15 May or Friday 16 May. According to the Times of India report, BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) is meeting to decide the dates and places of the remaining matches. It is reported that the rest of the matches will be played in India except Dharamshala.

Matches will be left only on 3 venue

The board is preparing a plan. According to preliminary information, if the league resumes next week, the BCCI is considering matching matches in cities like Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru. If the situation on the border is normal, the board can also match all the old places. The IPL 2025 season was postponed by the BCCI on Saturday 9 May amid increasing tension between India and Pakistan. The Indian board then announced to postpone the tournament for a week.

According to the information, BCCI has chosen the remaining IPL matches in South India, these cities include Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. There are still 17 matches left in the tournament.
