He wrote, “It has been 14 years today when I was wearing a baggy blue in Test cricket for the first time. I never thought where this journey would take me. This format tested me, gave me shape and teach me a lesson that I will remember for a lifetime.”
Kohli further said, “Playing in white dress is something special. It is a struggle full of peace, long days, there are short moments that no one sees but they are always with you. Now that I am going out of this format, it is not easy – but it seems right. It seems right. I have given it to me, and I have given me more than I can ever think.”
