A court in Thailand issued arrest warrants on the thrust for 17 people regarding the deadly collapse of the Bangkok skyscraper.
The 30-mangila tower, which was under construction and the state audit office intended to give homes, on March 28, Thailand and neighboring Myanmar reduced the debris in seconds during the 7.7-Chancement earthquake.
Officials say they have recovered 89 bodies from the debris of the collapsed tower. Seven people are still missing.
The tower was the only building in Bangkok that collapsed. The sudden and speed of its collapse has raised questions about the quality of its construction.
Deputy Bangkok Police Chief Police Chief General Somkuan Puungsap said the allegations include a violation of the building code, resulting in death and maximum punishment of life in jail.
The officials are investigating the cause of the building collapse and have not yet released their discovery.
Who accused?
Police said Chus involved officers and engineers of the seven companies accused, which were involved in the construction, construction and supervision of the collapsed tower.
Of the 17 persons sought by the police, only one has been identified: Premchai Karnasuta, former chairman of the Italian Thai Development PLC, the largest construction company in Thailand.
Italian Thai Vikas has held meetings with investors and said that the company is cooperating in the investigation.
Premchai was convicted and sentenced to more than three years in 2021 for the poaching of protected species.
Rangers caught him at a jungle camp in a wildlife sanctuary, including the bodies of protected animals along with a black indocinus leopard.
