Share market today: The stock market was seen in a tremendous upset during trading on 15 May today. The Sensex fell to 550 points in early trade, but made a strong comeback in the afternoon trading. At one time it had jumped for about 1400 points. However, it later closed with a gain of 1,200 points. The Nifty also crossed the level of 25,000 during today’s business. This is the first time since October 2024, when the Nifty Index has come at this level, after waiting for about 141 business days. Due to this boom, today the assets of the stock market investors have increased by about Rs 5 lakh crore. The most faster was seen in auto, IT and metal sector shares.
This fast was supported by a statement by US President Donald Trump. Trump said that India has offered an agreement without any tariff to the US. Trump’s statement has raised the hope of a trade agreement between the two countries soon, which further strengthened the confidence of India in global investors.
At the end of trading, the BSE Sensex rose 1,200.18 points or 1.48 per cent to close at 82,530.74. At the same time, the 50 -share index of NSE closed at 25,062.10 with a gain of 395.20 points or 1.60 per cent.
Investors earned ₹ 5.10 lakh crore
The total market capitalization of listed companies in BSE rose to Rs 439.99 lakh crore on May 15 today, which was Rs 434.89 lakh crore on its previous trading day i.e. Wednesday 14 May. In this way, the market cap of listed companies in BSE has increased by about Rs 5.10 lakh crore today. Or in other words, the property of investors has increased by about Rs 5.10 lakh crore.

29 out of 30 shares of BSE Sensex closed with an increase in green mark today. In this, the shares of Tata Motors were the highest at 4.16 per cent. After this, the shares of HCL Tech, Adani Ports, Eternal and Maruti Suzuki closed with a gain of 2.17 per cent to 3.37 per cent.
On the other hand, only one share of the Sensex, Indusind Bank closed down 0.16 per cent today.

2,642 shares up
The number of shares closed with an edge on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today was more. A total of 4,114 shares on the exchange were seen today. Out of this, 2,642 shares closed up rapidly. At the same time, 1,325 shares saw a decline. While 147 shares were closed flat without any fluctuations. Apart from this, 92 shares touched their new 52-whee high during trading today. At the same time, 28 shares touched a new lower level of 52-weeks.
