In his new role, Dominique Gathier reports directly to Maria Valdes, Chief Product Officer at Puma. Gathier, who has both French and German citizenship, has been with Puma for 19 years. During this time he held various positions in marketing and product development. Most recently, he was responsible for Team Sport Footwear and Equipment as Senior Director of Product Line Management and looked after the successful football shoe franchises Future, Ultra and King. He completed his studies in the field of management at the Kedge Business School in Bordeaux, France.
In his new function, Gathier will lead the entire product team of the team sport in the team sport. He is responsible for the development and implementation of product strategies and will work closely with the external partners of Puma such as clubs and associations. The team sport division at Puma includes shoes, clothing and accessories for football as well as for locally relevant sports such as handball, rugby and cricket.

With the appointment, the Herzogenaurach sports shoe provider wants to further strengthen its position in the team sports segment.
