Stocks to watch: Investors will have a special watch on the shares of 13 companies on Friday (16 May 2025) amid the results of the fourth quarter of FY 2024-25. The quarterly results of these companies and important updates such as fund raising plans have come. There can be a big movement in their stocks.
Godrej Industries recorded a net profit of ₹ 183 crore in the quarter of March 2025, compared to a loss of ₹ 311.8 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s income rose 26.5% to ₹ 5,779.7 crore. Ebitda gained 29.6% and the margin rose to 10.3%.
The net profit of Patanjali Foods increased by 76.3% to ₹ 358.5 crore on an annual basis. Revenue increased by 17.8% to ₹ 9,692.2 crore. Ebitda jumped at ₹ 516.2 crore by jumping 37.1%, and the operating margin increased from 4.6% to 5.3%.
Q4Fy25 net profit of JSW Energy increased by 16.1% to ₹ 408 crore. The demand for rising electricity helped increase profits. The company has also passed a plan to raise funds up to ₹ 10,000 crore, which can be done through private placements, QIP or other means.
The net profit of Abbott India increased by 27.9% to ₹ 367 crore. The company’s income rose 11.5% to ₹ 1,604.6 crore. The operating margin increased from 22.9% to 26.7% with an increase of 30% in Ebitda.
Cropton Greaves’ profit rose by 22.5% to ₹ 169.5 crore. Revenue increased by 5.1% to ₹ 2,060.6 crore. Ebitda increased by 29.9%, and the margin increased from 10.4% to 12.8%.
Singtel’s subsidiary Pastel is going to sell its 0.8% stake in Airtel. ₹ 8,568 crore will be raised through the block deal. The floor price is kept ₹ 1,800, which is 3.6% less than the current market price.
Godfrey Philips’ profits rose 30% to ₹ 279.6 crore. Revenue reached ₹ 1,573.4 crore with a gain of 79.8%. However, the operating margin declined from 21.9% to 17%, as the cost has increased.
The net profit of endurance technology increased by 16.7% to ₹ 245 crore. The company’s income increased by 10.4% to ₹ 2,963.5 crore.
The profit of NCC increased by 6% to ₹ 253.8 crore, while the income declined by 5.5% to ₹ 6,120.9 crore. Ebitda rose 1.1% and the margin increased from 8.5% to 9%.
The incident of a cyber fraud with Elkem Labs American subsidiary Enzene Biosciences has come to light. Funds were cheated by hacking the business email of some employees. The company is conducting investigation and outside agencies have been appointed.
Datamatics profits declined by 14.6% to ₹ 44.9 crore, while the income rose 20.5% to ₹ 497.2 crore. Ebitda rose 15.3%, but the margin declined from 15.7% to 15%.
Priqol’s profit declined by 15.9% to ₹ 34.9 crore, although the company’s income increased by 31.7% to ₹ 769 crore. All business segments saw good growth.
The net profit of Bikaji Foods declined by 61.6% to ₹ 44.6 crore, while the revenue remained almost stable. Ebitda fell 67% to ₹ 74.3 crore and the margin declined from 36.5% to 12%.
