According to the information, the Trump government of America has made a deal with Türkiye to sell the Amraam missile. The defense deal is $ 225 million (19,26,01,46,250 rupees), under which AIM-12C-8 Advanced Medium Range Air Missile (AMRAM) will be provided to Turkey from Washington. Along with this, there is also mention to export supporting equipment in the deal. This missile is also achieving Pakistan through Türkiye. This missile has also been used against India. According to the ‘Economic Times’ report, in 2019, the Government of India had given evidence of using F-16 fighter jet and Amraam missiles by Pakistan to the US. Pakistani Air Force failed to target the Indian Military Base through this. Despite this, the Trump government has made a deal to sell this missile to Türkiye.

Why Amraam is dangerous
Turkey had requested the US to give 53 AIM-12C-8 AMRAAM. The Tram government has made a missile deal assuming the demand of Turkish President Risap Tayyip Erdogan. Now the shocking thing here is that Pakistan does not have any fighter aircraft except the F-16 fighter jet, through which the AMRAAM missile can be fired. Amraam is an air to air missile, which is out of the visual range, in such a situation it is quite difficult to catch it. This deal between the US-Turki has once again increased the possibility of the Amraam missile coming into Pakistan’s hand. At the same time, the US Defense Cooperation Agency says that this deal will further strong with NATO member countries.
