Many shoe and fashion retailers work with customer apps. Consumers use them to find out more about current offers – and they can also be addressed more individually. Andreas Unger von Hutter & Unger presented the essential features of the customer app that the company launched on the market. And first emphasized: “It is about customer loyalty and purchase activation and about generating sustainable sales and yield.”
Around 190 dealers are currently equipped with the app, which corresponds to about 900 points of sale. According to Andreas Unger, around 6,000 digital campaigns were organized via app-with 13 million app contacts. The app for every fashion and shoe store that it wants to use is different, from the appearance to the logo to navigation: this is modular; The desired functionalities can be selected individually-from news to the stored customer card to the agreement of personal shopping appointments and QR code scanner. Push messages directly on the customer’s smartphone can provide information about offers. Clicking opens the app and directs directly to the content. The third app generation is currently on the market, the fourth in the pipeline. According to Unger, the app is very flexible. There are interfaces to numerous common merchandise management systems including exchange of address information.
