IMD says that the monsoon is raining unseasonal before it is completely active, and it may have an effect for the next few days. In such a situation, people should pay attention to the news of weather at all times.

According to BMC, heavy rains occurred at many places in western Mumbai in just one hour between 8 and 9 pm on Tuesday night. The highest municipal school area recorded the highest 61 mm rainfall in the area, which was flooded there and the roads were closed.

Many roads were flooded due to heavy rains. Drains began to overflow and the vehicles got stuck in the middle way. Due to rain, people returning home from office faced a lot of problems.

The BMC and Disaster Management Department have become fully alert. Pumps have been installed for drainage and the control room was on alert all night so that the needy can get help on time.

Due to rain, the traffic police installed diversion in some areas and instructed to remove vehicles from waterlogging routes. People were asked to go by alternative routes.

If this process of rain continues, BMC can also decide to keep schools and colleges closed. At present, the situation is being monitored for this.
