Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang has said that the United States export control on Artificial Intelligence China was “a failure”, as companies were locally moving towards state -of -the -art technology.
“I think, in all, export control was a failure,” he said, saying that companies would use the “second best” option if they cannot get chips from the American AI leader.
US export control promotes local supply chain
On the sale of state -of -the -art AI chips for China, the US Carb has forced the company to buy a semiconductor from Chinese designers like Huawei.
American action has pushed China to invest aggressively and develop a supply chain that does not depend on foreign manufacturers.
Addressing the media at a technical show in Taiwan, Huang said, “Local companies are very, very talented and very firm, and export control supported them spirit, energy and government to accelerate their development.”
Huang said that Nvidia’s stake in China’s AI chip market had increased to about 95 percent to 50 percent at the beginning of former President Joe Biden’s administration.
In recent years, the US has purely tried in exporting sophisticated chips to China that they can be used to carry forward the military systems of Asian giants and therefore threatens American dominance in artificial intelligence.
The administration of US President Donald Trump withdrew some karbes last week, complaining of countries that they were stones with major technology necessary to develop AI.
Huang praised Trump’s approach to AI and said that the President understood that American companies were not the only provider of such technology.

China slammed US chip warning
China on Monday asked the US to stop the “discriminatory” measures “to correct its wrongdoings immediately” and to stop the “discriminatory” measures under Washington’s guidance, which was given by warning companies not to use advanced computer chips including Huwei’s ascending AI Chips.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said that the US seriously reduced the consent to reach a high-level bilateral trade dialogue held in Geneva.
The ministry said that it would take firm steps if Washington has “enough” damage to Beijing’s interests.
