In a meeting of NITI Aayog held in Delhi on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Ministers of all the states strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam last month. All leaders supported “Operation Sindoor”. NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyam said that all the states of the country had a similar consent on this operation. This operation was considered a symbol of national unity. In the meeting, all the parties united and reiterated their resolve against terrorism.
‘Operation Sindoor’ support in one voice
Prime Minister Modi said in the meeting that Operation Sindoor is not only a symbol of India’s military strength, but also the unity and strength of our society. The leaders also appreciated that all the political ideologies were raised and supported in one voice for the security of the country. After ‘Operation Sindoor’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held the first major meeting with the Chief Ministers of the states and the Lieutenant Governors of the Union Territories. In this meeting, he emphasized the need for a strong partnership between the Center and the states to achieve the target of “developed India 2047”.
PM Modi said this
PM Modi said that, as the country united at the time of Operation Sindoor, if all the states are added to this mission, then this campaign will automatically move forward. He appealed to all states to increase the pace of development. Regarding trade and investment, the Prime Minister said that the central government is removing such rules which interrupt the business. He also stated that India has entered into FTA with many countries and more agreements will be made in the coming times. He asked the states to take full advantage of these opportunities through programs like ‘one district, one product’. Emphasizing on promoting tourism, the Prime Minister said that every state should develop at least one tourist destination which is equipped with international level facilities and structures.
Focus on agriculture, education and health services
In the NITI Aayog meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that if we focus on agriculture, education and health services and implement the central government’s schemes completely, it is possible to make India a developed nation. He said, “Just as the idea of ’Purna Swaraj’ united the whole country, similarly the goal of ‘developed India’ will give us the power to hand over a strong and rich country for the next generation.” NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyam said in a conversation with News18 that there was no discussion on US President Donald Trump’s threat to increase tax on Apple products in the meeting, as it does not have any significant impact on India.
