Reacting to Lalu Yadav’s decision, his younger son Tejashwi Yadav said that it is very important to keep personal and political life away from each other. Tej Pratap’s younger brother and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said in a conversation with the media, “We prioritize discipline and responsibility towards the public. We cannot tolerate such things.”
Tejashwi further said, “Politics and personal lives are different. My elder brother has every right to take his personal decisions, he is an adult and can choose his own way.” He also clarified that the decision is by party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and represents his spirit. In this post on Saturday, he shared a picture and wrote, “The girl seen in this picture is Anushka Yadav. We have known each other for the last 12 years and are in love.” As soon as this post came in front, there was a stir on social media and people remembered the former marital dispute of Tej Pratap, which had made a lot of headlines earlier.
However, after some time Tej Pratap clarified that his Facebook account was hacked. He also alleged that this conspiracy has been hatched to defame him and his family.

Tej Pratap Yadav’s name has been in controversies earlier. In 2018, he married Aishwarya Rai, granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Prasad Rai. However, a few months after the marriage, Aishwarya left her house and alleged that she was expelled from the house by her husband and in -laws. Aishwarya’s father Chandrika Rai resigned from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), supporting her daughter and announced that he would fight the matter at both legal and political levels.
Currently, the divorce case between the two is pending in Patna’s family court. During this time both sides have been making serious allegations against each other. Tej Pratap accused Aishwarya of seeking more alimony, while Aishwarya has accused her ex -husband of unusual behavior.
