The German Foreign Ministry on Monday dismissed the allegations of Uganda that Berlin’s Ambassador, Mathius Shauur, was illegally into consideration in matters in the East African country.
A spokesman for the ministry said that Berlin said the allegations as “absurd” and “baseless”.
What are the accusations of Uganda against the German Ambassador?
In an X post published on Sunday, Uganda military spokesperson Chris Magazzi said that Kampala received a “reliable intelligence report” that the German ambassador “was actively engaged in destructive activities in Uganda”.

“The Defense forces of the Uganda people have suspended all the ongoing defense and military cooperation activities with immediate effect with the Federal Republic of Germany,” said Mageji.
