Spying for pakistan: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan for allegedly spying for Pakistanis. Officials said on Monday (26 May) that accused Moti Ram Jat was actively involved in detective activities. He was sending confidential information related to national security since 2023 to Pakistan’s Intelligence Officers (PIOS).
Officials said the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Jat (for this work) was getting money from PIO (Pakistan Intelligence Intelligence Officers) through various means. He said that NIA arrested Moti Ram from Delhi and is questioning him.
The CRPF said it had been dismissed. According to a CRPF statement, when Jat’s social media activity was closely monitored by CRPF in coordination with central agencies, he came under investigation. During the surveillance, it was found that he had acted in violation of installed norms and protocols.
According to the statement, Jat has been handed over to the NIA for further investigation. According to the news agency PTI, the statement said, “Along with the relevant provisions of the Constitution with CRPF rules, the person has been dismissed from service from May 21.” Jat was produced by a special court. The court has sent him to custody till 6 June.
Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Police’s Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested two persons in separate campaigns in Noida and Varanasi for raising money in the name of illegal visa facility and spying for Pakistan.
A statement issued by the ATS said that Mohammed Harun, a 45 -year -old Seilampur resident of Delhi, has been arrested from Noida on Thursday. Harun is accused of spying for Pakistan.
ATS Uttar Pradesh was informed that Aaron, who works as a junk, is recovering illegal money in the name of getting a visa of Pakistan along with Mujmmal Hussain, an employee of Pakistan High Commission. At the same time, it is involved in anti-national activities by sharing information related to security related to the national interest with him.
According to the statement, in the investigation of ATS, the fact came to light that Aaron is constantly in contact with a person named Muzammal Hussain, who hails from Pakistan and works in the Pakistani High Commission, New Delhi.
According to the ATS, interrogation of Harun revealed that he had a relationship in Pakistan, due to which he came in contact with Muzammal Hussain in Pakistan High Commission.
