When the Beat of Fashion Business beats

More than 150 exhibitors, over 200 brands and more than 2,200 visitors – the Unitex draws a positive record of its fashion festival, which took place for the fourth time on May 20 and 21. Unitex managing director Xaver Albrecht spoke of an “unprecedented visitor record”. The textile grouping group sees the event as a strategic leading fair of the fashion and lifestyle trade- and as a compulsory date.

The fair has developed again and had to promote the claim, exchange, innovation and the dialogue between industry and trade. The audience by no means only came from Germany. Mealers from Austria, Switzerland and other neighboring countries were also able to welcome Ulm, according to the Unitex. Companies from areas such as DOB, HAKA, Young Fashion, shoes, accessories and digital solutions presented their current concepts on over 18,000 sqm exhibition space. The brands Lloyd, ARA, Collonil, La Strada, Skechers, Rieker and Remonte at the fashion festival included the shoe segment. Shoe dealers also took the opportunity to find out more about news and to expand their network.

“The fact that we were able to welcome more visitors to the site today shows that the industry needs this space for exchange, inspiration and strategic networks – that is exactly our mission,” says Xaver Albrecht, managing director of Unitex GmbH, on the evening of the first day of the fair. After two days of the fair, Albrecht was satisfied: “It was impressive to experience how strong the response of the industry this year was. The enormous frequency, the quality of the conversations and the openness of all participants have shown that the Unitex fashion festival hits the nerve of the times.” The supporting program included elevator pitches and expert lectures on topics such as digital transformation in trade, customer loyalty, goods management, logistics and financial strategies.
