Nigerian President Bola Tinubu defended a series of economic reforms associated with his government in an address on Thursday.
“Our economic reforms are working. We are certainly to build a great, more economics stable nation,” Tinu said in the comment, marking his second anniversary in the office.
After coming to power, Tinubu’s administration has twice reduced the country’s currency, Naira, and electricity and petrol value and sub -subsa. Nigeria is Africa’s largest crude oil producer.
‘We have made undisputed progress’
“Despite the collision in the cost of life, we have made undisputed progress,” Tinu said. “We have stabilized our economy and are now better deployed for development and stands are ready with global shock.”
The World Bank has warned that Nigeria continues to face high inflation, the Washington -based financial institution recently stated that Nigeria makes the highest economic growth in 10 years amid Tinu’s reforms.
INTEC Tinubu introduced economic reforms, with inflation in Nigeria over 23%of the councils. High fuel prices, food inflation and rising electricity costs disappointed the working Nigerians and created a cost-lived crisis.
Fury at high consumer prices has inspired the Nigerians to take it to the streets across the country and last year.
There is also a gymnasium in some opposition as the protesters collide with the security forces, killing people. The Nigerian government has arrested the protesters and some of them have been accused of treason, a crime that may come with a death sentence.
In his second anniversary address, Tinu, claimed that security in Nigeria has improved, stating that military forces are threatened by armed groups. Nigeria not only discovered from jihadi groups as Boko Haram, but has discovered the dacoits sacked.

Tinu critics condemned the failure of the government
Nigerian politician and journalist Omoyle Sovor criticized Tinu’s second anniversary address, accusing Tinubu of abolishing “petrol subsidy for income” on “subsidizing corrupt government officials and MPs”.
Sovor said that the Tinu government shifted the Boko Haram Jihadi group from the northern hosteers of Nigeria in the north-central state of Kogi, Borno, in the north-central state of Nigeria, from the northern hosteers states.
Sovor ran as a presidential candidate in the 2023 Nigerian election, Sovor said, “A person who met Boko Haram in Borno and Yob, but lets him go south for Kogi, is a failure.”
