China creates a new global arbitration body in Hong Kong – DW – 05/30/2025

China on Friday signed a conference to create a global arbitration-based controversial resolution organization in Hong Kong, trying to develop it in a position similar to the discovery of bodies as the International Court of Court (ICJ).

More than 30 countries supported the convention on the establishment of the international organization for the international organization in Hong Kong, including Laos, Cambodia, Serbia, Papua New Guinea and Venezuela.

Pakistan, Indonesia, Belarus and Cuba signed the conference to become founding members of the global organization after Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

Wang said, “Iomed’s birth will help cross the zero-zero mentality of ‘victory or defeat’, promoting a cordial resolution of international controversies and helping to create more harmonious international relations.”

Through the establishment of the organization in Hong Kong, China, the city’s creditic has to strengthen the crediticians of the city as an international legal and dispute resolution service center in Asia.

China’s increasing influence in global politics

The move to create an international organization comes amidst the US declining presence in global affairs as China attempts to fill the differences left by the US under President Donald Trump.

The supporting countries significantly indicate the growing effect of Beijing in the global south.

Beijing has steadily increased IT participation in international affairs over the years of the previous fee and is expanding its impact in the discovery of global bodies as the United Nations and World Health Organization (WHO).

Since starting his term in January, Trump has ordered the US to leave as the United Nations Human Rights Council and leave the bodies and reduce the US pullout from the WHO.
