Ukrainian commander resigned after soldiers were killed in Russian attacks
Kiev on Sunday reported a record braking number of Russian missiles and drone attacks, stating that Russia launched 472 drones and seven missiles.
Ukraine located one of the Russian missile hit “training units,” killed at least 12 Ukrainian soldiers and injured more than 60 others.
Most of the soldiers who lost their lives were in shelters during the attack.
Commander of Ukrainian Ground forces, Mykhelo Drapeti resigned after the incident, saying that he felt “responsibility” for deaths.

Russia confirms Ukrainian strike at 5 Airfields
Russia’s Defense Ministry said Ukraine had launched drone strikes targeting air areas in five areas.
The ministry said, “In the Murmansk and Irkutsk regions, the launch of FPV drones from an area in proximity to several aircraft caught fire,” the ministry said.
Russia said that most of the attacks were lifted.
Ukraine’s SBU Intelligence Agency said it was behind attacks on Russian aircraft, causing a loss of $ 7 billion (€ 6.17 billion).
“This is the estimated cost of the enemy’s strategic aviation, which resulted in a hits today as a result of the special operation of the SBU,” he said in the online post.

Russia says that at least two bridges collapsed in the area close to Ukraine.
Russian officials said a passenger train was injured at least seven dead and scores after a bridge explosion in the Bryn area.
After the collapse of another bridge in Kursk, a freight train derailed a few hours later, in which there were no casualties. Russian officials said that both bridges were blown, its investigators classified the incidents as a “task of terrorism”.
