Chances of rain in Delhi-NCR

Alert in Bihar

Temperature drop in UP and MP

On Monday, there has been a thunderstorm and electricity alert in 21 districts of Madhya Pradesh on Monday. During this time, the speed of the storm can be from 50 to 60 km per hour.
Red alert in these states
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday issued a red alert for Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Meghalaya and Manipur. Earlier, IMD had said that very heavy to extremely heavy rains are likely to continue in the northeastern states by 31 May. The effect of which can be clearly seen, flood -like conditions have been created in the Northeast areas. In Assam, 8 people died due to landslides and floods due to continuous rains, while flood situation has arisen in 17 districts, affecting more than 78 thousand people. There are ‘red alerts’ in three districts in the western part of the state and’ Orange alert has been issued in eight other districts.
Ghat areas of Goa, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu are expected to continue heavy rains on 2 June and subsequently. There is a possibility of rain with thunder and strong wind for the next 4 to 5 days in northwest India with western disturbances.
