After the ups and downs, the Indian stock markets closed in a red mark with a slight decline on June 2 today. The Sensex fell to 762 points in early trade. But later it compensated its loss and closed down 77 points at the end of the business. The Nifty also recovered from the initial decline and closed over 24,700. However, the move of smallcap and midcap stocks was reversed. The BSE Midcap index closed up 0.58 per cent. At the same time, the BSE Smallcap index rose by 0.36 percent. Due to this, the assets of the stock market investors increased by nearly Rs 1 lakh crore today.
