Anti-discriminating Commissioner Ferdon Atama said that the agency had received 11.405 reports-6% growth compared to 2023 and the number was doubled in 2019.
Most of the reports (43%) in the agency’s 2024 review reviewed the respective racist discrimination.

Here, women were most often suffering, Ataman said, the number was doubling in the last five years.
He said that women experience discrimination in most of the work or demanding employment, young women were ignored with job application as they could eliminate having children.
He said that the news of sexual harassment was at a record level of 348 for the year.
Ataman said that she sees a direct connection between the growing number of affairs of the German (AFD) party and increasing number of cases of discrimination.
“What I notice, and what we see in the agency is that as an approval rating for a right -wing extremist party, more and more people feel valid in commenting in everyday life.”
Therefore, Ataman criticized the anti-discrimination laws in Germany, saying that “the parking off-off prose in more strictly than discrimination against other people from a distance.”
